Of the 3,043 people living in East Gaffney in 2020, 59.5 percent (1,810) were women and 40.5 percent (1,233) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Spartanburg Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 170. In the 65 and over age range, there were 431 females and 240 males.
