Greater Inman Area Chamber of Commerce: Inman City Notes

10

Greater Inman Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on January 10.

From the Desk of City Administrator Joe Lanahan

2022 is going to be a great year for Inman! The momentum and energy from 2021 have created a city that is busy with development, new investment, and positive buzz. All of these traits have been brought on by a strong desire by our local community to grow and expand.

The City of Inman is excited to announce our newest staff member, April Williams Gibson. April will be the Planning Director for our city. She will take on a number of responsibilities. Her first task will be to move into the role of zoning official. Other areas where she will be involved is to have downtown designated as a historic district, managing the social media for all city accounts, and new business recruitment. Ms. Gibson comes to the city from Spartanburg County. While with the County she worked as a paralegal assisting in economic development and community enhancement. Additionally, she is pursuing a master’s degree in Public Administration. As an Inman native is great to have April come home.
