Beaumont United Methodist Church issued the following announcement on September 22.
The Clergy Care ministry of the South Carolina Conference has scheduled five new virtual retreats in October – all free of charge and open to all clergy:
- October 7 – (7-8:30 p.m.) “Followers of Christ, Before Leaders for Christ,” led by Rev. Dr. Anthony Hodge and Rev. Ken Owens.
- October 12 – (10-11:30 a.m.) “Navigating Clergy Bereavement Overload,” led by Rev. Miriam Mick.
- October 14 – (6:30-8 p.m.) “Our Mental Health: Let’s Talk About It,” led by Alethia King.
- October 18 – (2-3:30 p.m.) “Practicing the Presence of God,” led by Marla Fuller.
- October 28 – (10-11:30 a.m.) “The Whats and Whys of Spiritual Direction,” led by Rev. Kathryn Hunter.
