Of the 6,656 people living in Valley Falls in 2019, 57.1 percent (3,801) were women and 42.9 percent (2,855) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Spartanburg Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 3,061-to-2,100. In the 65 and over age range, there were 463 females and 294 males.
