31.2 percent of Spartanburg Methodist College students played sports on university teams in 2017-2018

In 2017-2018, 31.2 percent of Spartanburg Methodist College students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Spartanburg Methodist College has a total student body of 869 students, of which 51 percent are women and 49 percent are men. Of these students, 171 men and 100 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 8.7 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Spartanburg Methodist College with the most participants are basketball (60), soccer (52) and baseball (52).
