44 percent of applicants to Limestone College were admitted for fall 2018

At Limestone College, 54 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 56 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Gaffney enrolled 2,442 students in fall 2018, including 2,375 in undergraduate and 67 in graduate programs, data shows. 10.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

60 percent of undergraduates are residents of South Carolina, and 36 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (44 percent) and Black or African American (43 percent).

The school admitted 44 percent of the 3,057 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 29 percent enrolled.
