On Saturday, March 8, former Union County High School standout Kamryn Akins’ current college team, the Lander Bearcats, lost 10-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the North Georgia Nighthawks.

The game took place at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Nighthawks this season.

The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 12 p.m. at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium against North Georgia Nighthawks.
