On Tuesday, April 22, former Union County High School standout Kamryn Akins’ current college team, the Lander Bearcats, lost 4-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Tusculum Pioneers.

The game took place at Red Edmonds Field. This was their second matchup against the Pioneers this season.

The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, May 3 at 6:30 p.m. at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium against North Georgia Nighthawks.
