On Wednesday, March 5, former Spartanburg High School standouts Billy Holmes and Garrett Fulmer’s current college team, the Citadel Bulldogs, lost 9-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the South Carolina Gamecocks.
The game took place at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park. This was their first matchup against the Gamecocks this season.
The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 6 p.m. at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park against Northwestern Wildcats.
